Shelley Hindmon began her fundraising career began at Salem Academy and College and quickly progressed from annual giving to grant writing, ultimately becoming director of foundation and corporate relations. Her passion for pairing technology with best practices to increase fundraising effectiveness brought her to Blackbaud where she could help non-profits across the world to increase their impact. Shelley joined Blackbaud in 2015 as a software instructor for Raiser’s Edge 7 and Raiser’s Edge NXT, eTapestry, and Blackbaud’s education management portfolio, while also facilitating many fundraising organizational best practices workshops. In 2019, she joined Blackbaud Target Analytics to encourage nonprofits to take their fundraising to the next level by being more strategic in their efforts. Shelley is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and serves on the Salem Academy Alumnae Board where she can put her fundraising expertise into action.
