Speaker Bio
Nzinga Koné-Miller is a Senior Vice President at consulting firm M+R, creators of the annual M+R Benchmarks Study. Nzinga has been working at the intersection of nonprofits and technology for over sixteen years, but started out in the for-profit e-commerce space during the first dot.com boom. Following the dot.com bust, she honed her technology production skills as part of the web team of the “green”-ish division of a utility behemoth before making the jump to the trailblazing nonprofit consulting and technology firm Carol/Trevelyan Strategy Group (CTSG). During her time at CTSG and in her subsequent role at Kintera, Nzinga managed eCRM and CMS implementations for organizations like the Electronic Frontier Foundation, Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California, and the Simon Wiesenthal Center. Since making the jump to the consulting firm Watershed, which merged with M+R in 2012, she has spent the last thirteen years developing digital direct response strategy for organizations including Children's Hospital Los Angeles, Mercy Corps, the National Museum of Natural History, Boston Children’s Hospital, The National Gay & Lesbian Task Force (now the National LGBTQ Task Force), and others. Nzinga holds a BA in History and Studio Art from Williams College.
