As a representative for the Blackbaud higher education team, Mary Kathryn assists higher education prospects and clients in bringing their fundraising needs and projects full circle. Her background with donor research and fundraising allows her to effectively recommend solutions that would be a fit for organizations to make their work more efficient and effective.

Prior to joining Blackbaud in 2008, Mary Kathryn worked with prospect research, development and alumni relations at Clemson University and currently serves as the chair for alumni engagement on the Board of Directors of Clemson University’s Alumni Association. She also has a heavy hand volunteering with many nonprofit organizations throughout Charleston and has her certificate in nonprofit fundraising from the College of Charleston.

Over the past few years, Mary Kathryn has partnered with institutions like The University of Notre Dame, Grinnell College and The Ohio State University to strategize about implementation of Blackbaud’s services for Higher Education.
