As the Vice President of US Education for Microsoft Jamie leads a team that supports higher education and K-12 organizations across the United States. This team works with educational stakeholders supporting initiatives impacting students, teachers, and leaders both public and private. Engaging with solutions that range from the Microsoft Cloud to Minecraft to Surface & OneNote - and all our great partner solutions. Prior to leading the US Education team, Jamie lead the East Region Education team for four years.

Previously Jamie served as the General Manager of ten countries in Asia including Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Nepal, Myanmar, etc. Responsible for all of Microsoft products and services across these countries.

Prior to his role in Asia Jamie was based in Johannesburg, South Africa where he led Microsoft South Africa’s enterprise business managing corporate clients which was the largest segment within the subsidiary. He served on the country leadership team for Microsoft South Africa Pty focused on governance and strategic policy.

Jamie has previously led multiple Microsoft US businesses including Enterprise Sales Director-Southeast US, Enterprise Marketing Manager, Finance Manager, and Technical Sales Specialist. He joined Microsoft in 1999 as part of their MBA recruiting program.

Prior to Microsoft, Jamie worked for The Coca-Cola Company and Westinghouse Power Generation. While at Westinghouse Jamie completed an engineering/manufacturing training program and most notably worked on a team that assisted in the development of several power projects in multiple provinces within China.

Jamie holds an MBA from Emory University, and a degree in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Economics from Clemson University.

Throughout his career Jamie has supported a variety of non-profit organizations including serving on the Board of Directors for the American International School of Johannesburg. He is currently serving as the Chair of the Advisory Board for the General Engineering program at Clemson University.
