Dr. H. Sam Coy is a native of Worcester, MA. She attended Northeastern University and graduated with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. She then attended Massachusetts School of Law (Andover) and attained her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree. Dr. Coy attended Harvard University Extension School for two years and has obtained an MBA from Nichols College. Dr. Coy holds 2 PhD’s and her doctoral work and research is premised on nonprofit sustainability through the use of funder-required performance measures. For 20 years, as a thought leader in the world of performance management, Dr. Coy helps non-profit organizations utilize best practice and data-driven approaches to track impact and outcomes.

Coy Consulting Group, LLC is certified as a minority and woman business enterprise (MBE and WBE) with the Supplier Diversity Office. Dr. Coy helps businesses scale their impact and demonstrate the powerful work that has changed lives, saved lives and transformed communities in a measurable way. CCG helps improve the analysis of impact and effectiveness of agency goals that allows businesses to determine which methods work, adjust methods that are ineffective and more easily report quantified successes to key constituents through technology.

Dr. Coy is locally and nationally recognized for her commitment to serving her community. She was featured in Fairbridge Magazine and awarded the prestigious "Hero Among Us" Award issued by People Magazine. The Boston Globe, Worcester Telegram & Gazette, CBS News Early Show, WBZ Talk Radio, WNRC Radio, Unity Radio, The Dr. Tracy Show, and TV3 Charter-The Hank Stolz Experience have also featured the work she has done to improve the quality of life of the people, businesses and stakeholders she serves in the community. Dr. Coy's father was a law enforcement agent that positively impacted the Boston community and inspired the movie "In Too Deep".
