The submission deadline is now closed.
bbcon 2020 is heading northwest for nonstop social good! An important part of what makes this conference great is our amazing lineup of speakers and presenters! If you’re a thought leader, industry expert, tech guru, Blackbaud solution user, or a social good enthusiast, then submit a proposal to be a speaker at bbcon 2020 in Seattle on October 6–8, 2020.
Be sure to review the submission guidelines prior to submitting your proposal.

Blackbaud will review and evaluate each session proposal using the following criteria:
Each Conference session will be 45 or 60 minutes long. Please keep these lively and engaging, and PowerPoints should be easy to follow.

bbcon speakers will receive a full conference registration pass for a discounted rate of $400*.
Current Blackbaud Partners who submit a session to speak at bbcon 2020 must be a sponsor of bbcon 2020.
Want to attend bbcon at no cost? There are two options:
Apply for a bbcon scholarship! Limited number available for nonprofit organizations. Scholarship applications open in March, 2020.
Attend for your session only: Speakers coming in to present their session only and not participate in the full conference will receive complimentary registration. Please let us know by sending email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send you a special registration code.
*If you are a consultant, no more than one person from your company will receive the discounted registration rate for speaking.

Tips and Tricks on how to Write an Awesome bbcon Session Proposal

January 27–March 27, 2020
The submission period for speaker proposals will begin on January 27 and end on March 27 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
March 27–July 31, 2020
All submitted proposals will be reviewed and evaluated between March 27–July 31.
The bbcon content committee reviews all bbcon breakout session proposals and the first round of acceptance emails will go out in May with subsequent acceptance emails following through until the beginning of August. Everyone will be notified of their session’s status by no later than August 2020. If you have questions about the status of your session, please email email@example.com.
If your breakout session proposal is accepted, make sure to sign up for a dry run between August 17–28. More information will be communicated to you via email, once you have been notified of your session's acceptance.
All final session PowerPoint presentations are due by August 28, 2020.
bbcon is October 6–8 so don’t forget to book your travel to Seattle, WA!
