HOW ARE YOU CHANGING THE WORLD?
About the bbcon Give Back Project
We’re excited to have the opportunity to give back with you during bbcon. We know that many of you have kids at home with you during bbcon this year. And many others of you would love an artistic outlet. So, in partnership with the International Child Art Foundation (ICAF), we’re asking for you to share a piece of artwork that shows the way YOU are changing the world. Kids at home for bbcon are encouraged to participate. But you don’t have to be a child to create or share art! For each piece of artwork posted on social media with the #bbcon hashtag and @ICAF_org, we will be making a donation to the International Child Art Foundation and its important work in supporting children in times of crisis. See some our amazing submissions thus far!
How to Participate
You don’t have to be the next Van Gogh or Picasso to participate, just be willing to tap into your creativity.
Show how YOU are changing the world in just two simple steps:
- Create your masterpiece! If you need some inspiration, ICAF has provided two sample pieces to get your started (below).
- Take a pic of your creation and share it on social media using #bbcon, @ICAF_org.

About ICAF
Since its founding in 1997, the ICAF has been changing the world, one child at a time. Its impact is felt in Washington, DC where its World Children’s Festival (WCF) is held, in every U.S. state and territory where its Arts Olympiad is organized, and throughout the world where children can participate in the Arts Olympiad and represent their cities and communities at the WCF.
By fostering children’s creativity and developing their empathy, the ICAF fulfills six of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs) of 2030UN. The ICAF’s work reduces poverty, promotes good health, brings quality education, ensures gender equality, reduces inequities, and build peace in communities and the world at large.
