We have all heard about the benefits of sustainer program—how they will increase revenue, boost retention rates, and decrease fundraising costs. So why are higher education institutions not diving into the sustainer market? During this session we'll discuss the challenges in growing sustainer programs in higher education institutions and how we can overcome them. We will hear from Deb Ashmore, a principal analytics consultant at Blackbaud, who has extensive experience with sustainer programs. Deb will be joined by Maggie Utsch, director of annual giving at College of St. Benedict, who built a successful sustainer program at a higher education institution.
