Rita is the Senior Director of Accounting and Finance of the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation and has served the foundation for ten years. She has for profit and non-profit accounting experience, focused in the fields of education, litigation and government contracting. She holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with a minor in Mathematics from Roanoke College.
