Patrick Bower has served as the vice president for development and external affairs for St. Luke’s University Health Network since 2006, where he oversees fundraising for a growing network of hospitals serving eastern Pennsylvania and western New Jersey. Patrick has over 30 years of experience in fundraising and nonprofit management. Prior to joining St. Luke’s, Patrick served as the vice president for development for the Foundation of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey before its integration into Rutgers University. He also served as the chief development officer for Iona College in New Rochelle, New York, and as director of development for the Boy Scouts of America®. Patrick began his career as a community organizer with the Industrial Areas Foundation and the Chicago Neighborhood Organizing Project. He is a graduate of West Virginia University and St. Mary’s Seminary & University. Patrick and his wife, Diane, reside in Clinton, New Jersey, and are the grateful parents of four children. In his spare time, Patrick enjoys reading and spending time outdoors.
