Greg Schmidt serves as the assistant vice president for development for the sciences at Temple University, where he assists in guiding and growing the fundraising in six decentralized school and college advancement units. Greg has served Temple University in this capacity since 2019. Prior to Temple, Greg held advancement positions at Thomas Jefferson University, Saint Joseph’s University, and the University of Pennsylvania. Greg’s advancement career began as a student worker in the development office in college, where he processed checks, updated alumni records, and met with donors, developing a lifelong passion for advancement and fostering student support in higher education. A native of Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, Greg resides in Philadelphia with his wife and two daughters.
