George Werbacher is a cybersecurity professional and leader with industry experience in cloud security, risk management, and program development. George currently leads the Business Information Security program at Blackbaud, where he supports product development teams with ensuring risk quantification and security strategy remain integrated into business priorities and roadmaps. Before Blackbaud, George led the Cloud Security Advisory team at Truist Financial, where he was responsible for the overall cloud security strategy and governance program. George also has held jobs at Capital One and the SaaS-based company Acquia. George has a passion for education and loves the ability to give back to his alma mater as an Adjunct Professor for the Carnegie Mellon Heinz College, where he teaches cloud security.
