Meredith Smiley leads the Cyber Aware program, a multi-faceted security awareness initiative designed to drive a strong cyber security culture across Blackbaud. Cyber Aware is comprised of regular security training initiatives, educational campaigns and metrics to measure behavioral change. Prior to joining Blackbaud, Meredith spent 12 years in the financial services industry leading a number of large-scale cultural, human resources and cyber security change initiatives. Meredith graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Public Relations. She lives in Asheville, NC with her husband and her 3 year-old daughter and can usually be found on a bike or in a trout stream with her family.
