As a Planned and Major Gift Officer, Ginny Downey manages relationships with individuals who are deeply committed to the mission of the Diocese of Allentown. Prior to joining the Diocesan Stewardship and Development team, Ginny taught 7th and 8th grade history in Diocesan Catholic schools for 23 years. She currently sits on the planning committee of Bearing Witness, an organization which provides Catholic school educators with training and resources to teach students about the historical relationship between Jewish and Catholic communities and the impact of that relationship on Catholic teaching, catechesis, and liturgy.
