As Civic Eagle’s chief culture officer, Shawntera is focused on shaping team culture, human resource development, and people operations. With 15 years of experience in public policy as both a practitioner and an executive, Shawntera has had the opportunity to work in several leadership roles including commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, deputy chief of staff in the Office of Governor Dayton, policy director at Fresh Energy, government relations manager for HealthPartners, city planner for the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota, and legislative assistant in the Ohio House of Representatives. Shawntera received her Master's in Urban Planning from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning and her Bachelor of Science from Ohio State University.
