Oliver is an assistant director of scholarships at California State University, Long Beach. His passion for education, technology, and helping others has provided him with over 12 years of opportunities in education and nonprofit work. He is an avid gamer and believes strongly in the potentiality of engaging in play. The game provides the structure and context that allows exploration, creativity, and possibility through play. Oliver often imagines what it would be like if we approached some of our challenges in life through play and allowed the freedom it affords us to think outside the box. What is play but the work of children, interacting with the world and developing physically, cognitively, and emotionally? Why stop when we become adults?
