Kira Antonyshyn is the Communications & Development Officer for Help Us Help, a global humanitarian organization dedicated to improving the lives of displaced children and conflict-affected veterans in Ukraine. Kira earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Life Sciences from Queen’s University and a Masters in Medical Science with a Specialization in Neuroscience from the University of Toronto. Kira strives to be actively involved in every community she becomes a part of. In addition to her participation in several established clubs on her undergraduate campus, Kira was the founder and president of the Queen’s University Ukrainian Students’ Club. Throughout her Masters she was a member of the University’s Community & Outreach Program, and a volunteer for several organizations in the Greater Toronto Area. Ultimately, her long-term involvement as a volunteer for Help Us Help, both in Ukraine and in Canada, was what drew Kira towards employment with the organization.
