Felicia Rush is the scholarship supervisor for the Austin Community College Financial Aid Office. She works closely with the ACC Foundation scholarship program, manages external scholarship programs, emergency aid, AmeriCorps, and other various financial aid and scholarship resources. Felicia started working in higher education in 2011 as an hourly financial aid employee while attending the University of Northern Iowa for her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies. After completing her Bachelor’s Degree, she went on to complete her Masters of Arts in Postsecondary Education: Student Affairs at the University of Northern Iowa. She then began working full-time in the Financial Aid Office as the customer service/scholarship specialist. Within a year of completing her Master's Degree, she moved to Austin, Texas, and began working for Austin Community College. She has worked with ACC since 2016. Felicia is passionate about helping college students succeed by providing information about financial resources and ensuring they have access to other college resources.
