Claudia is the global head for IBM SkillsBuild, a global initiative conveying two programs, SkillsBuild for Job Seekers - for re-skilling and up-skilling of underrepresented/underserved workers without degree or IT background; and SkillsBuild for Students&Educators - focused on secondary students exploring new STEM careers. Claudia has 24 years of experience leading Sales and Delivery organizations both in Professional Services and Outsourcing mainly inside IBM. In her most recent role as Head of CSR in LA, she successfully led CSR COVID and post- COVID campaigns, with + 188,000 hours of volunteerism impacting +166,000 students in 10 countries in the region, also PTECH - Pathways to Early Technology alliances for replicating this model in 63 schools across 8 countries. Claudia holds a degree in Electronic Engineering, Master in Science Degree in Microelectronics and a specialization in Management for NPOs. In parallel, Claudia has volunteered for more than 28 years in different NPOs (non-profit organizations) in Brazil and Argentina, focusing on programs related to women empowerment, fighting extreme poverty and social entrepreneurship. She has served as Executive Director for various NPOs in Argentina, and also founded MAM - Manos Arte Moderna, a NPO Fair Trade company dedicated to Women entrepreneurship.
