Rachel Kesselman has been with FedEx for 14 years, including the last six on the Global Citizenship team. She leads FedEx’s global volunteerism efforts, but also has experience in leading international giving. Currently, she works to engage team members to engage in hands-on volunteering, virtual volunteering, and utilizing their expertise/skills to support the company’s philanthropic initiatives (or a nonprofit of their choice). Rachel works tirelessly to be creative in bringing unique experiences to team members. This ranges from recruiting volunteers to distribute coats to students in underprivileged schools, packing supplies for disaster relief programs, creating virtual flashcards around black history, or assembling snack pack kits/hygiene kits/holiday care packages to ship to military heroes around the world. She wants to create engaging volunteer programs to inspire team members and deliver positive change around the world, including the communities where we live and work. Rachel has many charitable interests of her own and has been a volunteer leader in Memphis, Tennessee for the National Fish & Wildlife Foundation for over 12 years. She holds a B.S.J. (Journalism) from The University of Kansas, serves on several boards in the Memphis area, loves college basketball, and has a Catahoula Leopard dog named Phog (pronounced Fog).
