As Principal Counsel, Privacy, at Blackbaud, Dan White represents Blackbaud in the areas of privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity law. Dan works to ensure Blackbaud’s compliance with privacy laws, including US laws and the GDPR. Dan is accredited by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) as a Certified Information Privacy Professional with respect to US laws (CIPP/US). Prior to Blackbaud, Dan was the lead in-house counsel for privacy and cybersecurity at Marathon Petroleum Corporation after working in private practice with Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP.
