Shannon Perry serves as the Development & Communications Manager for the Hemisfair Conservancy. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art and Technology from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania and has a passion for serving her community. Shannon started her career by serving a two-year term as an AmeriCorps*VISTA. Since then, she has helped to further the missions of organizations focusing on the arts, affordable housing, education and community development. She loves her work at the Hemisfair Conservancy where she is helping to create a beautiful urban parks district in the heart of downtown San Antonio, TX. Shannon spearheaded Hemisfair's augmented reality tree donor recognition app project and continues to manage the program that consists of over 100 sponsored trees!
