Shannan Gove is a global leader in workforce and event management with over 12 years experience working alongside some of the largest events worldwide from the SuperBowl, FIFA World Cup and the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games.

After graduating high school at St Joseph's College, Geelong in 2007, Shannan pursued a career in sports, completing a Bachelor of Sports Management at Deakin University. Upon completing his degree, Shannan created a staffing company - Event Workforce - alongside his business partner, Bennett Merriman, which was designed to connect motivated university students with work experience opportunities throughout Australia. Now referred to as Spark Event Group, the company has grown to become one of Australia’s largest staffing companies servicing the Grand Prix, Australian Open and Melbourne Fashion Festival just to name a few. During the growth of this business Event Workforce was involved with events of all shapes and sizes. Similar to the client list of Geelong Major Events.

Whilst operating Event Workforce, Shannan also co-founded Rosterfy - an end-to-end technology solution for mass workforce management programs worldwide. With a mission to connect communities to events and causes they are passionate about through their workforce engagement solution, Rosterfy now has over 1 million users worldwide. From the Super Bowl through to tin rattlers for local nonprofits and charities, Rosterfy helps organisations recruit, screen, train, engage and manage volunteers and casual staff to ensure the success of workforce programs big and small.
