We will be partnering with the following organizations at bbcon 2024 to offer Continuing Education (CE) Credits to our attendees. Credits vary by association, as do submission details.

NASBA CPE

As part of our commitment to providing high-quality continuing professional education, Blackbaud is a registered sponsor of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, a program offered by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA). This registry recognizes that our continuing professional education for accountants meets nationally recognized standards.

Accountants are required by state governing boards to earn CPE credits to maintain and enhance their professional competence. As a registered sponsor, Blackbaud’s name and address are printed on a registry that is distributed to state boards of accountancy and made available to licensed accountants across the country. A link to Blackbaud’s website appears with our listing on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors on NASBA’s website, www.nasba.org

How are the number of CPE credits determined?

CPE credits are granted based on a 50-minute hour. Participants are eligible for one CPE credit for every 50 minutes of instruction attended. For learning activities in which individual segments are less than 50 minutes, the sum of the segments would be considered one total program. A minimum of one full credit must be awarded initially, but after the first credit has been earned, credits may be awarded in one-fifth increments or in one-half increments.

How to Confirm Session Attendance for Above Sessions

We will be using a tool called Conferences i/o to help us track attendance and issue CPE certificates. In order to complete the requirements for CPE, you will need to use the internet browser on your computer or mobile device to access Conferences i/o to check in and check out for each applicable session you attend.

If you are using a smartphone or tablet you can simply point your device's camera at the QR code being displayed on screen in each session, which will bring you directly into the session check-in.

We will also have a direct link to access https://blackbaud.cnf.io/ and have the option to select the session you are attending.

Once you arrive at the session page, enter your name and the email address with which you used to register for bbcon. This information will be retained for a quick check-in for the next session. A timestamp is captured when you check-in for the session, so please make sure to do so promptly. You will be able to check in for the session up to 15 minutes in advance of the start time.

It is very important you remember to check out upon completion of the session. We will again display the QR code and also provide a check-out code in order to allow you to check out successfully and record your attendance.

We will have CPE monitors in each session room, should you need assistance checking in or out.

Is CPE credit automatically awarded after attendance is established?

CPE credit is not automatically awarded. Letters or certificates of completion are available upon successfully completing a class. Certificates will be issued within 2 weeks after bbcon via email from certificates@conferences.io. You are responsible for submitting this information to the State Boards of Accountancy. Should you have questions or issues, please reply to the email or contact bbcon.cpe@blackbaud.com
