Krista Matia (pronounced Ma-Tee-Ah) has over 10 years of fundraising and marketing experience in both the non-profit and for-profit worlds. Prior to joining Blackbaud, Krista was a Blackbaud client! She managed the annual fund and database operations for a regional food bank. She led digital fundraising strategy, managed a $1M direct mail program, developed individual and corporate major donor relationships, and oversaw the RENXT database operations. She has experience in direct mail programs, leadership giving societies, and coordinated donor acquisition events. She has Raiser’s Edge expertise in online fundraising including giving days, event management, recurring gifts programs, and data management. To give back to her community, Krista serves as a Board member and Fund Development Chair for the Fund for Women of the Southern Tier, and Board Member for the Elmira College Alumni Board. Krista holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with specializations in Marketing, Management, Economics, and Managerial Accounting from Elmira College. She is Raiser’s Edge Pro and Raiser’s Edge NXT Fundamentals certified. Krista is based in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York, USA. with her husband, son and two Siamese cats!
