Stacy Rooney is a Senior Principal Strategic Fundraising Consultant at Blackbaud.  She started this role at Reeher in 2014 and continued at Blackbaud after the 2018 acquisition of Reeher.  In this role, Stacy gets to advise leaders in fundraising to use data to drive changes for efficiency and effectiveness in their approach. 

Stacy’s career started out in direct service as a housing advocate in Minneapolis, MN.  Recognizing the importance of fundraising to fuel social good, Stacy shifted toward fundraising and has gained 20+ years of fundraising experience working at St. Catherine University as the Director of the Annual Fund prior to moving to Reeher and then Blackbaud.

In addition to her undergraduate degree in Social Work, Stacy earned a Masters in Organizational Leadership (MAOL) through St. Catherine University; certification in Dispute Resolution from Hamline Law; and certification in Change Management from Prosci.
