Bio

Audrey Kidwell is a grants manager at the Center for Disaster Philanthropy (CDP). She is an Indiana native, and attended the University of Southern where she earned a bachelor of arts in Political Science and International Studies in 2008. She completed her master’s degree in Community & Social Change at the University of Miami – Coral Gables Campus.

Audrey served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Burkina Faso, West Africa. After returning to the US, Audrey served as a Florida Campus Compact/AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer at the William R. Butler Center for Volunteer Service and Leadership. After her year of service, she was hired full time to work in the Butler Center at the University of Miami to run their volunteer programs. Prior to joining CDP, Audrey worked with Volunteer Florida as the program manager for the Volunteer Generation Fund, a program that increases the capacity of organizations to recruit, manage, support and retain skills-based volunteers to serve in high-value volunteer assignments.

Audrey lives in Tallahassee, Florida and enjoys engaging with her community. She sits on various board including Tallahassee/Leon County Animal Shelter Advisory Board, Epsilon Sigma Alpha and Peace Corps Tallahassee.
