Russ started Grassroots Unwired over 10 years ago after a 15 year career focused on grassroots political campaigns and advocacy for a wide range of progressive candidates and organizations. At a time when he was unable to find technology to meet the needs of the types of organizing he was working on, Grassroots Unwired was born. Since its inception, Grassroots Unwired has been creating tools on the cutting edge of nonprofit technology - supporting a wide range of solutions for canvassing, fundraising, advocacy and peer to peer events. Russ attended The American University in Washington, DC and lives in suburban Philadelphia.
