Bio

Rose Judkins is the Inclusion Director at Medica.  In this role she is responsible for the advancement of Medica’s inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility (IDEA) strategy which is aimed at putting inclusion first.  During her tenure Medica has increased their diverse candidate pipeline, achieved high employee survey inclusion scores, and launched seven employee resource groups.  Most recently Rose’s team has been honored with a 2024 Diversity Impact Award from Global ERG Network for Top 10 Enterprise-Wide Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) & Diversity Councils.  

Rose has over 30 years of Human Resources experience in the areas of diversity and inclusion, learning and development, leadership development, organizational effectiveness and change management for profit/nonprofit business sectors.  Rose is also very passionate about community work outside of her role.  She organized her first community conversation in January 2018 after the death of Philando Castile.  Since that time, she has organized several community conversations in collaboration police departments in the Twin Cities metro to have open, honest conversations about race and community policing.  

Rose has a BA degree in Human Resource Management from Baruch College in New York City.  Additionally, she is a certified facilitator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) and has received Diversity and Inclusion for Human Resources certification from Cornell University.   

 

Rose is a native of Brooklyn, NY and is the proud mother of two sons Myles and Marcus.
