Donor Advised Funds continue to play a growing role in charitable giving — but how are they truly shaping nonprofit fundraising outcomes? This session will present key findings from the second annual DAF Fundraising Report, the most comprehensive analysis of nonprofit DAF gift data. Building on last year's findings — like the fact that when a donor switches to giving via DAF, their gift amount to the same organization increases by 96% on average, and that DAF revenue is growing 214x faster than non-DAF revenue in the sample group — the 2025 report offers fresh insights into how DAF giving patterns are evolving. The session will explore how DAF donors give compared to other donor types, including gift size, frequency, and repeat giving behavior, as well as how nonprofits are integrating DAFs into their fundraising strategies and where the greatest opportunities lie to harness this growing source of support.
