Amy Matthews is currently a Solutions Consultant at Blackbaud, helping organizations identify the best Blackbaud solutions to support their missions.  For the past 11 years, she worked as a Blackbaud University instructor delivering world-class content to empower clients to make the most of their software solutions.

Whether online or in person, she has trained thousands of professionals in the Social Good sector to leverage Blackbaud solutions including Raiser’s Edge, eTapestry, Luminate Online, TeamRaiser, NetCommunity, and Blackbaud’s Education Management Portfolio for K12. Through creating and teaching Fundraising and Marketing Best Practices sessions, she’s been able to stay up to date with current industry trends.  You might have seen her at a previous BBCON, at a Blackbaud University Day, or met her on the Expo Hall floor working at one of the Blackbaud booths. 

Prior to joining the Blackbaud team, Amy spent almost 8 years working in the nonprofit industry as a database administrator, project manager, and “wearer-of-many-hats.”  Through these positions, she was able to work closely with fundraisers, finance, marketing, event mangers, and volunteers. 

Amy is passionate about helping Blackbaud software users become more effective and efficient at their jobs and ensures that each student who attends her class leaves with an actionable way to make their mission possible. with a positive experience and an actionable way to make their mission possible.
