In her role, Mary Kate oversees the receipt and processing of all gifts, acknowledgment of all gifts, donor database management, and data quality control.
Mary Kate started at Woodford Cedar Run as a Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital volunteer in 2018, and accepted a Welcome Staff position in 2021. In 2022, Mary Kate accepted a seasonal staff position in the Wildlife Hospital. In the fall of 2023, she accepted a full-time position on the Development Team to further her impact by becoming the Development & Database Coordinator. She is currently working on a second Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Conservation with a concentration in animal health and behavior. Her interest in studying animals began at a young age when she attended zoo camp during her summers. She enjoys kayaking, hiking, reading, traveling and spending time with her cat, dog, and gecko.
