Bio

For more than 30 years, Karin Kirchoff, President and Founder of K2D Strategies, has dedicated her career to making the world a better place.  Before launching K2D Strategies in late 2016, Karin spent half of her career working directly for well-known, national nonprofit organizations – like National PTA, Defenders of Wildlife and the Human Rights Campaign – and the other half working for agencies that support them.

Karin founded K2D Strategies in 2016 with a goal of helping non profits of all sizes maximize their relationships with donors and members.  Since then, Karin and her team have helped small local orgs launch digital programs, they’ve worked with national non profits to launch direct mail, and they’ve partnered with groups like Make-A-Wish to create and optimize high value programs like midlevel giving.

Karin has been active in the nonprofit community for most of the last 25 years.  She coauthored the first ever DAF Fundraising Report that provides nonprofits with greater insight into DAF donor behavior.  And she has served on the boards of the DMFA and the DMA NonProfit Federation (now the ANA) and is the current DMAW president.

Karin lives near Washington, DC with her family.  When she isn’t changing the world (and sometimes when she is,) she drinks too much coffee, runs with her dogs, and travels whenever possible with her husband and their two kids.
