Valerie Cucinotta Collado is Director of Community Impact and Communications at Avantor and Executive Director of the Avantor Foundation, which she helped establish. Under her leadership, the Foundation expanded from a U.S.-based program to a global philanthropic platform, aligning giving priorities with business goals through two strategic reviews. She also launched associate engagement initiatives—including Matching Gifts, Dollars for Doers, and volunteer programs—that empower employees to strengthen their local communities.

In addition to her philanthropic leadership, Valerie has held diverse roles in communications at Avantor, spanning internal and external communications, brand, and social media. She now leads sustainability communications, raising awareness of Avantor’s sustainability strategy and advancing the company’s global brand.

Outside of work, Valerie directs theater productions at her high school alma mater, combining her passion for storytelling and mentorship to create meaningful experiences for students.
