Mackenzie Giancarlo has extensive experience driving peer-to-peer and special event fundraising for nonprofit causes. She currently serves as Assistant Director of Event Fundraising at the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, where she leads strategies that power some of the organization’s largest community-engagement events and initiatives in support of cancer research and patient care. 

Since joining Roswell Park in 2015, Mackenzie has become a respected voice in the fundraising community, known for her expertise in building sustainable programs that mobilize volunteers, engage donors, and maximize impact. She manages multi-million dollar programs — including events that unite participants, survivors, and supporters to accelerate mission-driven results. 

Mackenzie holds degrees from Valparaiso University and Canisius University and brings a collaborative, data-informed approach to philanthropic leadership. She has spoken before on trends in fundraising innovation, donor engagement, and community-centered development practices.
