The session would walk through how to use AI to write API queries in Blackbaud Award Management™, with a specific focus on the most used export API in the solution, the Fund Disbursements API.

Today, a moderate level of technical knowledge, coding, data analysis, and data integration is needed to write API queries. Many Award Management customers lack resources internally to be able to write their own queries. 

By following specific steps offered in this session, you will learn how to use generative AI to write your own API queries in Award Management, eliminating the need for specialized skillsets to accomplish this task. The process will focus on the Fund Disbursements API, the most commonly requested need by customers, which will be very helpful to your awarding process. In this sesson, we will also cover using the same approach and steps to write other Award Management API Queries and we'll even touch on using the steps in other Blackbaud products at a high level. You'll learn how to leverage AI to improve upon data extraction processes to cover a multitude of needs that your instituiton or foundation may have.
