Gen Z Unfiltered, Part 2: Live Donor Feedback from Gen Z on Real Campaigns
Last year’s Gen Z Donor Engagement bbcon session introduced nonprofit leaders to the values, behaviors, and expectations shaping how Gen Z connects with causes. This year, we take the conversation one step further by putting Gen Z voices front and center.
In this interactive working session, attendees will hear directly from a panel of Gen Z donors as they react in real time to actual nonprofit campaigns. From fundraising emails and text messages to social posts, imagery, and donation page experiences, Gen Z panelists will share candid feedback on what resonates, what feels inauthentic, and what they would or would not share with their peers.
Rather than guessing how Gen Z might respond, participants will observe how Gen Z evaluates nonprofit messaging through the lens of trust, relevance, inclusivity, and shareability. The session will surface common patterns, challenge assumptions, and highlight practical changes nonprofits can make immediately to improve engagement with younger donors.
Attendees will leave with unfiltered insight from Gen Z donors, a clearer understanding of what drives peer-to-peer sharing and giving, and concrete ideas for creating campaigns that feel authentic, respectful, and worth supporting.
