In-Person

Endowments and restricted funds represent long-term commitments between donors and the institutions they support. Yet many advancement teams still rely on manual reporting processes and fragmented data when communicating how those funds are used and stewarded.

At Midwestern State University, advancement leadership recognized an opportunity to strengthen both donor transparency and institutional decision-making around fund usage.

In this session, Jeff Spoeri, Vice President for Advancement at Midwestern State University, will share how his team began transforming their approach to endowment stewardship and donor impact reporting. By improving visibility into fund activity, strengthening collaboration between finance and advancement, and modernizing stewardship processes, the university has taken important steps toward providing clearer insight into how donor funds are supporting students and programs.

The session will explore how institutions using Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT can better connect financial and advancement data to support stronger stewardship, improved fund utilization, and more meaningful donor communication.
