Rachel Svetanoff serves as the Leadership Giving Discovery Manager at USA for UNFPA, where she designs and implements discovery strategy, builds a robust pipeline of high-capacity prospects, and stewards emerging Leadership donors to accelerate long-term fundraising growth for the organization. Rachel’s background in development spans cross-sector social impact, where she has cultivated strategic partnerships with leading philanthropic funders through consulting engagements with UNICEF USA, Sesame Workshop, and The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, among others.Prior to her work in the social sector, Rachel held a leadership role at Johnson & Johnson where she led CaringCrowd, a global charitable giving platform that mobilized funding for nonprofit organizations improving outcomes for vulnerable communities worldwide. Rachel received her BS in Chemistry and MBA from Purdue University and her MS in Global Health from the Notre Dame where she has been recognized as a distinguished alumna from both institutions.
