Matt Connell joined Blackbaud University following a career in nonprofits as a fundraiser, database administrator, researcher and consultant. Matt is Blackbaud’s lead instructor and educational experience designer for nonprofit organizational best practices, fundraising, and several product solutions. 

Matt has been a contributor to The ENGAGE blog, NonprofitPRO, npEXPERTS, and the Blackbaud Community and has presented at AFP events including ICON and LEAD, The Nonprofit Cooperative’s Marketing and Fundraising Summits, Crescendo’s Practical Planned Giving Conference, and Blackbaud’s bbcon. 

As an educator deeply rooted in the social good sector, Matt helps to grow the expertise and advance the knowledge of those working to do the most good for the world we share.
