Tom Walker began his career at Blackbaud in 1998, holding roles in Support and Professional Services as one of the original Financial Edge consultants. Over the course of his early tenure, he implemented Financial Edge for more than 100 customers.

Tom later spent five years as the CFO of a higher education foundation in Charleston, South Carolina, gaining firsthand experience in nonprofit financial leadership. He then returned to Blackbaud to help drive the strategic transition to Blackbaud's cloud-based solution, Financial Edge NXT. Today, Tom serves as a strategic advisor to Blackbaud’s sales organization, providing deep expertise in nonprofit accounting and financial management.
