Carrie White brings technical & analytical acumen and a strategic approach to leadership. Since 2014, White has served as the Vice President of Technology, Information, and Philanthropic Strategy, leading a team of 30 to drive fundraising results. White was recruited to this role after serving as the Director of Operations for the UC Health Foundation, a sister organization, from 2012-2014. Serving on the organization’s Executive Leadership Team, White’s accomplishments at the University of Cincinnati Foundation have been many and include leading a successful conversion to Blackbaud CRM, implementing and refining prospect development tools, implementing and adopting Microsoft 365, and building a robust Tableau reporting environment - all with the focus of increasing fundraising success, decreasing cost, increasing efficiency, and mitigating risk. Prior to her work with the University of Cincinnati, White oversaw Fundraising Development and Strategic Initiatives for the Urban League of Greater Cincinnati, where she managed internal and external relationships that drove fundraising results. White liaised with local foundations, donors, and government granting organizations while managing special events, annual fund, major gifts, and volunteer support. White also introduced a fundraising tracking system that created and drove visibility into progress and results, while streamlining internal business processes. In addition to her professional leadership roles, White has served as a fundraising technology consultant, a director of advancement services for the Cincinnati Museum Center, and a fundraising marketing manager for Junior Achievement. White is currently affiliated with several professional organizations, including Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), Blackbaud Product Advisory Group, Blackbaud Education Advisory Group, Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA), Association of Advancement Services Professionals (AASP), Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). White has been recognized for her professional volunteering by CASE as chair of the Summer Institute in Advancement Services conference and a faculty member of CASE’s premiere technology conference, DRIVE. She has also been named a Laureate by CASE, served as a Cincinnati Chief Data Officer Roundtable member, and had her work highlighted in the CDO magazine and CASE Currents Magazine. She received a BA from the University of Alabama and is currently working toward her M.A. in Organization Development & Change Management at the Pennsylvania State University. White resides in Cincinnati with her husband and two sons. She enjoys cooking and quality family time on the weekends.
