Grace Stewart is currently the Senior Manager of Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Inclusion Programs at the American Alliance of Museums and an Adjunct Instructor at Heinz College | Carnegie Mellon University. She has previously held positions as the Director of Collections & Exhibitions at the Metal Museum, Strategic Development Director for Tone, Registrar for the National Civil Rights Museum, and Exhibitions & Programming Associate at the August Wilson Center. She has served in leadership roles on numerous professional committees including as Co-Chair of the Professional Development Committee for the Association of Art Museum Curators, Chair of the Community Supported Art Committee for the Artist Advisory Council at ArtsMemphis, Cofounder of Memphis’ Emerging Museum Professionals, and currently as a member of the Executive Committee for the Metal Museum Board of Directors. Grace is a 2021 participant in the McKinsey Black Leadership Academy Management Accelerator, and a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory. She holds an MA in Arts Management from Heinz College | Carnegie Mellon University and a BFA in Ceramics from NYSCC | Alfred University.
