Speaker Submissions

Submissions are open for bbcon 2022 Virtual. We are looking for a diverse group of dynamic online presenters who are able to inspire, entertain, and engage audiences in a virtual environment. We want to hear from speakers who can share unique expertise, inspiring stories, bold ideas, and a desire to drive social good.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Thousands of industry professionals want to hear your expertise and proven success strategies. When drafting a proposal, consider sharing thought leadership discussions, tips & tricks, case studies, best practices, or expert advice in the following focus areas across all verticals:

  • Corporate Social Responsibility
  • Data Intelligence
  • Financial Management
  • Foundations
  • Fundraising and Marketing
  • Peer-to-Peer Fundraising
  • Leadership and Industry Trends
  • Tech Innovation
  • ...and more!

Session proposals will be reviewed and evaluated using the following criteria: 

  • Quality of content: Reduced session lengths and virtual attendee fatigue with concise and compelling sessions.
  • Relevance to audience: Content should examine and explore the needs, challenges, and opportunities social good professionals face today and in the future.  
  • Approach: Session descriptions, target audience, level of expertise, and key learning takeaways are clearly articulated.
  • Creativity and innovation: Engaging ways to interact with the audience and/or new perspectives on topics delivered.  
  • Impact: Session provides practical application and encourages attendees to take action.

Conference dates

October 17–18, 2022
  • Breakout sessions are 30-minutes in length. These sessions will be pre-recorded with a bbcon video producer and broadcast simu-live during our conference dates. We ask that all presenters are present during their broadcast times to participate in online chat and Q&A. 
  • Tips and Tricks are 5-10 minute pre-recorded videos submitted by the speaker that showcases a valuable feature, capability, technique that has made a great impact to you, your team, your organization. 
  • Live forums are 30-minute sessions hosted in our networking lounges with capacity of 50 people. These are facilitated small group discussions, ask the experts series, or common trends and challenges you'd like to explore further with your peers.
