Since joining Blackbaud in October 2021, David has worked with organisations around the world, talking to his own experience as a Head of Fundraising and Grantmaking in the UK using Blackbaud solutions himself for many years prior to joining Blackbaud.

David is a fundraising strategist and relationship manager within the Third Sector with specialisms in donor engagement and effective development of technology within fundraising and grantmaking teams. Prior to joining the Customer Success Team, he worked as a Fundraising Consultant at Leap Fundraising (owners of Wooton George Consultancy) and held a post as Head of Fundraising & Grantmaking at an International Aid charity as well as numerous fundraising and engagement roles, particularly a number of consulting posts within Healthcare and Arts & Culture organisations.

He has extensive experience in managing database projects across many software providers, developing fundraising campaign strategies and communications channel development and years of experience working with organisations across the non-profit sector to increase annual income year on year.

David lives on the South Coast of England with his daughter, has a passion for theatre and good coffee and returns to bbcon for the fourth year in a row.
