Bio
Chris works with fundraising teams across universities and charities to help them unlock the power of their data – ready for the future workplace with AI. With a background in Fundraising and Supporter Experiences, he specialises in making complex information easy to understand and use — helping teams make smarter decisions, tell better stories, and drive greater impact.
Before joining Blackbaud, Chris led Advancement Operations and Campaigns at the Royal Academy of Music, where he helped deliver a landmark £100M+ philanthropic campaign celebrating the Academy’s 200th anniversary. He brings experience from both UK and US institutions, spanning arts, culture, and research.
At Blackbaud, Chris coaches organisations across Europe, collectively raising billions for social impact, to modernise their data systems, build digital maturity, and use insights to guide the work. He’s passionate about making data meaningful — turning messy spreadsheets into clear dashboards that show where fundraising programmes are thriving and where they need support.
Chris is also a long-time industry volunteer, contributing to conferences, white papers, and the graduate trainee programmes. He leads sessions on storytelling, data strategy, and cultural change — helping the next generation of fundraisers build confidence and capability in a fast-moving sector.
