Zara Barton is a passionate and strategic fundraising professional who leads an incredible team of fundraisers at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Foundation. She manages a dedicated group of event fundraisers who plan and deliver an exciting portfolio of activities that inspire supporters and raise vital funds for Guy’s & St Thomas’ Charity, Guy’s Cancer Charity and Evelina London Children’s Charity.
Zara began her career in the third sector in 2018 as a Fundraising Events Administrator at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. Since then, she has built extensive experience across several respected organisations, including Great Ormond Street Hospital, Mind and now Guy’s & St Thomas’ Foundation.
In her current role, Zara oversees the strategy and delivery of major fundraising events such as the London Marathon, flagship experiences like the St Thomas’ Abseil, and creative virtual campaigns including Steps for Evelina. She combines strategic insight, creativity and hands-on leadership to ensure her team delivers outstanding supporter experiences that make a real difference in healthcare.
