Heidi Hopewell is the assistant director of loyalty giving for the South Dakota State University Foundation. Before her time in annual programs, she gained experience working in human resources, recruitment, and admissions. She earned a Master of Science degree in Marketing and Communication from Franklin University (2011) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Ohio Christian University (2009). In the summer of 2019, the South Dakota State University Foundation switched to Blackbaud Guided Fundraising™ to enhance their Philanthropy Center. They were looking for a software that could replace their phonathon system and simplify their multichannel efforts, yet still maintain a donor-centric approach.
